Avon Tyrrell is a leading outdoor learning venue dedicated to the continuous development of young people. With over 40 exciting activities to experience at Avon Tyrrell, we are sure there is something that you want to try. Zip wire across the lake, climb a route on our climbing tower, kayak or canoe across open waters, learn archery and test your skills on our Archery range, learn Bushcraft survival skills and much much more.

This Halloween join us for something spooktacular! Our Halloween Activity Trail on the 27th October costs just £10 per child (non-participating adults go free!) You'll get to enjoy 2 hours of themed fun, from our Pumpkin Smash Archery to Haunted Tower Climbing there is somethng for everyone to enjoy! The cafe will be open for light bites and hot drinks - it really is a great day out for the family!

There’s bike hire available so you can explore the New Forest or just tackle one of our bike tracks- you can enjoy strolling across the New Forest National Park located right outside your front door.

Café Explore is open for light refreshments throughout the year (day and times vary), we also offer summer evening 'take away' with pizza, fish and chips (options and days vary).

Accommodation options
Looking to explore the New Forest National Park, but want the comforts of your own home? We have 7 forest lodges available sleeping 6, 12 and 14 people, that are self-contained with Wi-Fi, TVs and a fully functioning kitchen. Prices start from £330 for a two-night break for up to 6 people.

Looking to get back to nature and experience camping in the beautiful New Forest National Park? We have an unspoilt campsite with good facilities. We have a selection of family-friendly camping options to suit you with prices starting at £35 per night for up to 4 people.
