The pool is a sensory hydrotherapy pool heated to a lovely warm 34 degrees, therefore no wetsuits required, and suitable from birth. It has a depth of 1.2 metres and is easily accessed by steps. It has clean and separate male and female changing rooms with benches at a great height for baby changing. There are benches on poolside too for grandparents and other spectators and a useful wet room next to the pool.

Springwell School swimming pool is conveniently located on Burseldon Road (A3024), approximately a mile from junction 8 of the M27, very close to Hedge End. The site is modern, with the pool having been recently redesigned and refurbished, with ample free parking.
