Big Squids

Our child-centred approach to swimming doesn’t change when your child reaches primary school age. Traditionally at this time children move onto larger pools, bigger class sizes and teachers who are out of the pool. These noisy and often over stimulating environments can be really tricky for kids to manage, so alongside our teaching team we have developed a unique offering – the Big Squids Swim Academy!

Our Big Squids sessions offer small class sizes with our teachers in the water to support your child, offering quicker progression and a more individual tuition.

We work on a matrix of milestones that children need to go through to become independent swimmers, a lot of swimming is based on physical development so we ensure that our supportive and adaptable teachers work with them closely.

We specialise in supporting children with SEND, we work closely with families to ensure that the right approach is implemented with each individual child.
