Little Pixies

Little Pixies is a stay and play baby and toddler group for children 0-5 years based at Pavilion on the Park in Eastleigh, part of local charity Eastleigh Youth & Community Trust (Charity Number 1154430)

Situated in a very large and spacious sports hall, Little Pixies has 12-13 free play and structured activities per week based on weekly themes and designed around EYFS guidelines and curriculum which cover the areas of Expressive Arts & Design, Literacy, Numeracy, Knowledge & Understanding of the World, Communication and Language. Personal, Social and Emotional development and Physical Development. We celebrate events such as staff birthdays, Halloween, and Christmas plus have termly 'specials' such as Disney Day. We also occasionally invite guests from other organisations such as Mini First Aid and Makaton. Drinks and snacks for adults and children are included in the price.

Little Pixies runs term but in half term breaks and every other week during the summer school holidays we expand the project to include 'Pixies Plus', a stay and play session for our Little Pixies and their older siblings up to the age of 8 years with an emphasis on crafting activities, sports and outdoor learning.

Little Pixies and Pixies Plus are projects run by trained staff qualified in Early Years Care and Education.
